ROVE'S LAWYER LIED TO FITZGERALD?

I no sooner finished posting the pieces on rats when the astounding article below jumped out and grabbed me. Viveca Novak of Time Magazine writes about her meetings with Rove's lawyer Luskin (who by the way is supposed to be a liberal) and how she was dragged unwillingly and inadvertently into Plame Gate. Either Rove's lawyer intentionally misled Fitzgerald or Rove intentionally misled his lawyer who then ended up lying unwittingly. (Well, that is a risk an attorney must take when defending Bush’s biggest fat rat.) I think the latter possibility is more plausible. It will be extremely interesting to see how this plays out.

By the way, Ms. Novak is presently on leave of absence from Time Magazine. This was supposedly a decision "mutually" agreed upon. Sure it was. LS

I found Ms. Novak's piece in Time on Raw Story.com
