HARPER MAGAZINE READY TO ADMIT THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING MIGHTY FISHY ABOUT THE NOVEMBER ELECTION
First, even Harper's Magazine is now ready to admit that there was something mighty fishy about November's election. Their cover story in August is titled None Dare Call It Stolen - Ohio, the election, and America's servile press.
Here's an abstract: "...on Election Day, twenty-six state exit polls incorrectly predicted wins for Kerry, a statistical failure so colossal and unprecedented that the odds against its happening, according to a report last May by the National Election Data Archive Project, were 16.5 million to 1..."

Here's your daily dimesworth of difference between Bush's priorities and those of the guys who actually won the elections he stole. While the Bushes wasted precious weeks trying to make political hay over the Schiavo family's tragedy, both Gore and Kerry would almost certainly been making preparations for the coming avian flu pandemic a bit more of a national priority. I can think of many Dems and GOPs who would have done the same. -K
