Transcript of GOP chair, Ken Mehlman, interview on Meet the Press yesterday.
GOP chair "respectfully disagrees" with every question about or criticism of Bush policy, posited by Tim Russett. (On a side note, I believe that Mr. Russett was far less harsh in his questioning of Mehlman than he was with Dean 2 weeks ago.)
Concerning the Downing Street memo, Kenny boy M blatantly lies. It was discredited by all who read it, according to KM.

BRAD'S BLOG WRITES ABOUT ISSUES WE CAN DICUSS WITH THE NEW PUBLIC EDITOR OF THE NYT
Brad's Blog has a substantial amount of information tonight and I will therefore refrain from posting other news because Brad Friedman covers a myriad of issues so crucially important not only to our party, but to Democracy as we know it.
Brad's post today discusses the new Public Editor, Mr. Byron Calame, for the NYT. I read Mr. Calame’s column yesterday and am cautiously optimistic about his openness to discuss news of critical importance, news so obviously missing in the press and MSM.
But then, why has the NYT shrunk from its journalistic responsibilities of late and what role will Mr. Calame play in restoring its former image, I wonder. However, moving along…..
Brad urges us to write to Mr. Calame about the issues percolating if not erupting and exploding on the Internet and in the blogosphere. You know, critical events that have not been shown in the MSM or written about in the press. As Randi Rhodes of Air America Radio said very recently: “There is no news anymore.” Randi is right.
It is with caution, however, on my part, that we contact Mr. Calame. Should we trust his invitation to an open dialogue? The press and MSM are, after all, bottom line driven. That is the root of the problem, in my view, so while a tad cynical, I suggest we give it our best shot and blast Mr. Calame with our views. Hold his feet to the fire and demand results in exposure. We have nothing to lose after all, do we?
Brad’s suggested list of blacked out realities:
Election 2004
Election Reform
Help America Vote Act
Vote Rigging Software Whistleblower
Clint Curtis
American Center for Voter’s Rights
The Baker/Carter Commission
The Mitofsky/Edison Exit Polls
Libby Shaw’s List To Add to Brad’s:
The Downing Street Memo
Tom DeLay
Ohio Coingate
Isle of Man Billionaires
Jeff Gannon, the fake reporter
Prisoners of war abuse
Koran Abuse
Abuse of US military: shoddy protective gear, cutting already miserly benefits, why do those who send our children to war don’t send their children?
The 9/11 Commission: Why it had to reorganize into a private group to hold the Bush people accountable for national security.
Cheney and Halliburton's ripoffs
Rumsfeld's and Cheney's former role with Saddam and Iraq.
House of Bush, House of Saud
The No Child Left Behind Myth
Merging of church and state
Spending federal tax payer money to promote fake news and Bush propaganda.
Spending federal tax payer money to advance a fundamentalist Christian agenda (i.e. handing out Bibles in sex ed courses, dismisssing Darwin's theory of evolution).
The list will go on. To be continued.
